Mexicali Mexico

John & Laurie Barillaro and Family

The Barillaro Family attended Calvary Chapel Chino Valley and then moved to Mexicali, Mexico on February 1, 1994. They parked their Chevy pickup in a vacant lot in Colonia Rivera Campestre and made it their home. Theybegin to learn the customs and the language of the people to share the Gospel with them. Their Spanish was very weak, but the Lord was not, and the smallgroup slowly grew into a small handful of adults and children. Today, CalvaryChapel Mexicali has an established fellowship of approximately 600-800, a prison ministry with many of the ex-prisoners becoming members of the church – and praising God for His grace and mercy as He has transformed their lives.
